Key Rules
- Count: upload 1–10 screenshots per device type.
- Format:
.png,.jpg, or.jpeg. App previews are H.264 or ProRes 422 (HQ), 15–30 seconds, 30 fps max, up to 500 MB. - You don't have to provide every size. If you only upload the largest required iPhone and iPad sizes, App Store Connect scales them down for smaller displays.
- Required iPhone size: a 6.9″ set (or a 6.5″ set if you don't provide 6.9″) is required if your app runs on iPhone.
- Required iPad size: a 13″ set is required if your app runs on iPad.
- Source of truth: these dimensions follow Apple's App Store Connect screenshot and app preview specifications. Apple can change them — verify against Apple's specification pages before a submission.
